Malcom Floyd eyes return from neck injury Training camp the next test for Chargers wide receiver By: Mike Krueger | Jul 16 2014, 9:00 am
Were there an MVP for spring training -- a silly notion -- Malcom Floyd would've been my choice.
The Chargers tested him, even though they've employed him since 2004. In all five practices open to the media, the first pass from Philip Rivers went to Floyd. He was typically the most-targeted pass-catcher, and won more than he lost. (San Diego Union Tribune)
FFToday's Take:Floyd missed the majority of 2013 with a neck injury but appears to be in good form and should slide into the starting lineup in 2014. Training camp will give us a better idea if he's practicing without restrictions. He's got an opportunity to be the Chargers No.2 wide receiver but won't be more than a fantasy WR4.
