Falcons' Drew Davis placed on PUP list
Atlanta receiver will have procedure on his foot
By: Mike Krueger | Jul 5 2014, 10:00 am

The Atlanta Falcons today announced that they have placed wide receiver Drew Davis on the training camp physically unable to perform list. “Drew felt some discomfort in his foot at the end of minicamp,” said Head Coach Mike Smith. “We decided to send him to the doctors for some evaluations and it was determined he had suffered an injury that would require a procedure. He recently had the procedure done and we expect him to miss around six weeks, which is why we have decided to place him on Training Camp PUP.” (AtlantaFalcons.com)

FFToday's Take: Davis is no better than fourth and depth chart behind Julio Jones, Roddy White and Harry Douglas and missing six weeks of the pre-season isn't going to help him become fantasy relevant. He's off the fantasy radar even in the deepest of leagues.
