Cleveland Browns

WR Josh Gordon in trouble again
Caught for speeding; passenger cited for possession of marjuana
By: Doug Orth | May 31 2014, 7:10 pm

Already in trouble with the NFL for a reported failed drug test, Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon was issued a speeding ticket over the Memorial Day holiday weekend. According to the citation, Gordon's 2014 grey Mercedes-Benz SUV was clocked going 74 miles an hour in a 60-mile-per-hour zone on May 25. Gordon's passenger was issued a citation for possession of marijuana in an amount under 200 grams during the traffic stop. (WKYC)

FFToday's Take: Gordon is quickly digging himself a deep hole, one in which he may not be able to get out of with his series of poor off-field decisions. Gordon, as many will remember from draft weekend, is already subject to an indefinite suspension for a failed drug test and missed the Browns' first two games last season because of a drug-related suspension. The Browns' top three receivers after Gordon are Miles Austin, Earl Bennett and Andrew Hawkins.
