| Browns shakeup wide receiver corps Sign Austin, Bennett, release Little By: Mike Krueger | May 16 2014, 7:00 am
| The three starting receivers from last season might all be out for 2014: Little and Davone Bess have been released and Josh Gordon is facing an indefinite suspension for violating the league's substance abuse policy for at least the third time. In their place are veterans Miles Austin and Earl Bennett, who were signed as free agents on Thursday, and Andrew Hawkins and Nate Burleson, who were signed in March and April, respectively. (Cleveland Plain Dealer)
FFToday's Take: Little was a 2nd-round pick in 2011 but had a case of the dropsies during his time in Cleveland. Austin finds himself with a golden opportunity as the Browns have a shaky depth chart at wide receiver. However, Austin has been plagued during his career with hamstring injuries and had very little interest as a free agent this off-season. He'll be on the WR5 radar with extreme injury risk.
