Colin Kaepernick being investigated

Police said Thursday that 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick is the subject of an investigation in South Florida. No charges have been filed against Kaepernick, but TMZ Sports reported Thursday that investigators were looking into an alleged sexual assault that occurred at a hotel in Miami earlier this month. "The 49ers organization is aware of a report regarding Colin Kaepernick and are gathering facts," said 49ers general manager Trent Baalke, in a statement. (San Jose Mercury News)

FFToday's Take: There are other reports that 49ers WR Quinton Patton and Seahawks WR Ricardo Lockette are also being investigated. It appears the investigation is in its early stages. More details to come...
