Nate Burleson to visit Dolphins
Miami looking for veteran wideout
By: Mike Krueger | Apr 3 2014, 12:50 pm

Nate Burleson hopes his career keeps swimming along. The free-agent wide receiver will visit the Miami Dolphins. The former Detroit Lions receiver told "NFL AM" he will land in Miami on Thursday evening, as NFL Media's Steve Wyche announced during the NFL Network morning show. (NFL.com)

FFToday's Take: Burleson is looking to sign on with the fourth team of his career (Minnesota, Seattle, Detroit) and could be a nice fit in Miami where a veteran receiver is needed. If signed, he could compete with Brandon Gibson for the No.3 role but in all likelihood would be veteran insurance for Mike Wallace and Brian Hartline. Burleson started 8 games last season in Detroit but missed time due to a broken arm.
