Manziel to visit Patriots
Patriots serious about QB or just kicking the tires?

The New England Patriots are scheduled to host quarterback Johnny Manziel on a pre-draft visit at Gillette Stadium on Wednesday, a league source confirmed. The Patriots pick 29th overall in the first round and have Tom Brady (under contract through 2017) and Ryan Mallett (under contract through 2014) on the depth chart. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: This is Belichek doing due diligence with a top prospect. With the Patriots picking near the bottom of the upcoming draft, a trade up would likely need to happen if the Pats were serious about taking the former Texas A&M quarterback. This is the first of several visits that Manziel has lined up with NFL teams.
