Steelers add Blount to backfield
Two-year contract
By: Mike Krueger | Mar 28 2014, 3:23 pm

LeGarrette Blount agreed to a two-year contract with the Pittsburgh Steelers today during his visit, according to league sources. Blount, 27, also had interest from the Patriots in bringing him back, but sources say they didn't approach the financial commitment of the Steelers. (Baltimore Sun)

FFToday's Take: Blount will fill a backup role behind every-down back Le'Veon Bell in Pittsburgh. Blount's arrival won't affect Bell's status as a RB1 with upside and his departure leaves Stevan Ridley and Shane Vereen as the top two options in New England.
