Bucs WR Williams stabbed in thigh

Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams was hospitalized after being stabbed in the thigh Sunday afternoon in his Tampa home. Williams' brother is suspected in the stabbing and is being sought by police. The Tampa Bay Times reported Williams was treated for a relatively minor laceration at St. Joseph's Hospital and released. (ESPN)

FFToday's Take: The injury doesn't appear serious but Williams' off-field issues are a concern. There's a pattern here and it's disturbing. No one is bigger than this football team," new Bucs coach Lovie Smith said in February. "He has to understand that." Despite signing a six-year, $40.25 million contract at the beginning of last season, Williams needs to get on a better path if he wants to have a long career in the NFL.
