Browns add RB Ben Tate Two-year deal By: Mike Krueger | Mar 15 2014, 3:15 pm
The Browns filled the void they've had at running back since they traded Trent Richardson last season by signing former Texans running back Ben Tate on Saturday.
The deal is for two years and worth about $7 million, sources told NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. (Cleveland Plain Dealer)
FFToday's Take:The Browns have basically been without a running back since they traded Trent Richardson to the Colts. Tate battled a rib injury last season but will be penciled in as the Week 1 starter with only Dion Lewis (broken leg), Edwin Baker and Fozzy Whitaker round out the Browns running back group. Tate will have RB2 fantasy upside.
