Bears release RB Michael Bush Cut after two years into four-year deal By: Mike Krueger | Mar 10 2014, 6:30 pm
The Bears on Monday released running back Michael Bush, a long-anticipated move that clears significant salary-cap space but leaves the team without a proven backup to starter Matt Forte.
It saves the Bears $2.85 million for 2014 and clears $1.85 million in cap space.

FFToday's Take:Bush never carved out a significant role in the Bears offense behind Forte. Bush had 63 carries for 197 yards and 3 touchdowns last season. Expect Chicago to address the running back situation in free agency or the upcoming draft.
