49ers re-sign Anquan Boldin
Two-year deal, $12 million
By: Mike Krueger | Mar 3 2014, 3:00 pm

"49er fans, I wanted to be the first to tell you that I'm returning to San Francisco," Anquan Boldin wrote on Q81.com. "Looking forward to joining my teammates, coaching staff and fans to bring back another championship to the Bay Area. Let's go after our Quest For Six." Instead of going into free agency for the first time in his 11-year career, Boldin reportedly agreed on a two-year deal that pays $6 million annually, or the same amount he earned last season in his 49ers debut. FFToday's Take: Boldin is set to make $9 million guaranteed. This is a good move for the 49ers as their main receiving weapons (Boldin, Michael Crabtree, Vernon Davis) are all returning for Colin Kaepernick. From a fantasy standpoint, Boldin's 2013 numbers (85 rec, 1179 yds, 7 TDs) aren't likely to be repeated provided Crabtree can remain healthy. He'll be a low-end WR3 in redraft leagues.
