Eagles re-sign Maclin, 1-year deal
Free agent WR staying in Philadelphia
By: Mike Krueger | Feb 28 2014, 4:00 pm

The Philadelphia Eagles today announced they have agreed to terms with wide receiver Jeremy Maclin on a one-year contract. "Jeremy is an ideal player for our scheme with his combination of size, speed, strength and route-running ability, in addition to his dynamic playmaking talent," said Eagles general manager Howie Roseman. "We're happy to see him rehabbing well and to get him under contract for the 2014 season." (PhiladelphiaEagles.com)

FFToday's Take: Maclin missed all of 2013 after tearing his ACL in training camp but is expected to be ready for training camp. He will battle Riley Cooper for targets and the starting receiver spot opposite DeSean Jackson. Both Maclin and Cooper will have a negative effect on each other's fantasy value unless one of them gains the upper hand in Chip Keely's offense. Low-end WR3 value for each as the off-season continues.
