Saints missed Joe Morgan's speed
Recovering from partial ACL tear
By: Mike Krueger | Jan 29 2014, 9:00 am

New Orleans Saints wide receiver Joe Morgan looked like he had a clear shot at the No. 3 spot when the team entered training camp last summer. However, he didn't get that chance. Morgan would be diagnosed with a partial ACL and meniscus tear in August that immediately landed him on injured reserve, the second time in his three-year career that he'd miss a season due to a knee injury. FFToday's Take: Kenny Stills took over the deep threat role in the Saints passing game and finished with 20 yards per catch - the highest average in the league. Morgan, a restricted free agent, is five months into his rehab and should be a participant in training camp come July.
