| Peterson undergoes groin surgery Expected to make full recovery in six weeks By: Doug Orth | Jan 23 2014, 4:20 pm
| Adrian Peterson had surgery (Thursday) with Dr. William Meyers at the Vincera Institute in Philadelphia, Pa. Dr. Meyers was able to successfully repair Adrian’s adductor muscle while also doing a compartmental release. Adrian is expected to make a full recovery in approximately six weeks. (Vikings.com)
FFToday's Take: Peterson underwent reconstructive knee surgery in the 2012 offseason, a sports hernia operation in 2013 and now this surgery. It is hardly ideal, but Peterson's healing powers have become legendary, so it is unlikely this most recent surgery will be an issue come training camp. The 28-year-old will be working in Norv Turner's offense next season, meaning he could post some prolific numbers in 2014.
