AP expected to have groin surgery

Update: I've also learned that Vikings RB Adrian Peterson needs & has opted for surgery on his groin in the very near future. (Josina Anderson via Twitter)

FFToday's Take: There's no definitive date but with Peterson not playing in the Pro Bowl, surgery could come at anytime. An "off" season for Peterson still landed him 6th among fantasy running backs and AP was one of only five qualifying running backs to average 15+ fantasy points per game. Peterson will be a top five fantasy pick in 2014.
