| Peterson bothered by groin injury Does not anticipate missing Week 12 By: Doug Orth | Nov 18 2013, 3:05 pm

| Adrian Peterson is not at full strength and it is clearly evident. Bothered by a nagging groin injury, Peterson carried 21 times for 65 yards Sunday against the Seahawks. There were times when it appeared he needed a burst of speed or a quick move to break a long run. But he just didn't appear to have it in him.
"Actually, it was bothering me a lot," Peterson said of the injury. "There were a couple plays in the first half, oh man, I knew if I was able to explode the way I normally do I could have gotten some big chunks, even taken it to the house." (St. Paul Pioneer Press)
FFToday's Take: Peterson missed a pair of practices last week, so it isn't surprising that he was limited by the injury on Sunday. With the Vikings' season going nowhere, it might be in AD's best interests to take a game off to get closer to 100 percent, but that likely will not happen. For what it is worth, backup Toby Gerhart did see a season-high 28 snaps in the Vikings' blowout loss to Seattle in Week 11.
