Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Vincent Jackson is day to day with a rib injury that is not considered serious, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. Jackson left Sunday's loss to the New England Patriots in the third quarter and did not return. Buccaneers coach Greg Schiano said Monday that he is uncertain if Jackson will be available to play next weekend against the Arizona Cardinals.

FF Today's Take:Jackson may need to wear a flak jacket until he heals up and is a lock to appear on the Week 4 injury report barring a miracle, but it sounds like he will be on the field against the Cardinals in Week 4. Although he will see some time against Patrick Peterson, Jackson has been spending a lot of time in the slot thus far and should escape his coverage about half the time. Jackson's bigger problem has been the pathetic play of Josh Freeman thus far.
