Ball gets first-team reps on Monday-- Mon Aug 26 4:20 pm --
Hillman still atop depth chart
Montee Ball was moved to the first team during Monday's practice. The move comes on the heels of two straight weeks of fumbles for Ronnie Hillman, who had been taking the lion's share of the first-team reps. Broncos coach John Fox downplayed Ball's first-team reps after Monday's practice.
"It's just practice, I wouldn't read too much into anything," Fox said.

FF Today's Take:Ball is going to move into the starting lineup sooner than later and Hillman's fumbles have likely only sped up the clock on the promotion. Ball is the team's best inside runner and should become the starter once he can prove he can protect Peyton Manning consistently. His current late-fourth, early-fifth round ADP is a bit high given his current circumstance, but he could make that investment pay off before midseason.
