Texans' RB removed from practice for "precautionary" reasons
Midway through the Texans Friday morning practice, running back Ben Tate suffered a groin injury.
“My groin tightened up,” Tate said. “… I’m not too worried about it.”
Tate had been working in Arian Foster’s place as the Texans starter recovers from a strained calf. Coach Gary Kubiak said yesterday he is hopeful Foster will return to practice on Sunday after Saturday’s day off. (Houston Chronicle)
FF Today's Take:Tate battled hamstring and foot injuries last season and is going to be counted on as the primary backup to Arian Foster. Fantasy owners should be concerned if his absence extends for more than a week.
