|Randall Cobb has the drops? -- Fri Aug 2 10:45 am --|
Coaches confident, not worried about it
|"Randall Cobb catches the football very well," McCarthy said. "He might drop a ball. I don't know if there's a concern. But it's something we spend a lot of time on. We need to catch the football better... I've never been part of a perimeter group that accepts anything less than being 100 percent, and that's what we're striving for... As far as Randall Cobb's evaluation of catching the football, he has very good hands." (Journal Sentinel)|
FF Today's Take: With the departure of Greg Jennings to Minnesota the Packers are looking for increased production from all of their WRs, but especially Cobb. He led the team in drops last year (10) and if that continues he'll cost owners fantasy points. Randall Cobb is expected to see plenty of targets because of his quickness and play making ability, so if he gets the drops under control he could finish in the top five at his position this season.
