| Trent Richardson a full-go for camp -- Mon Jul 22 2:30 pm --|
Fully recovered from offseason muscle strain
|After missing some spring practices with a strained muscle in his right shin, Browns RB Trent Richardson reported to training camp early and has been practicing, coach Rob Chudzinski said Monday.
“Richardson has been full-go,” Chudzinski said. “He’s been practicing these last few days and looks good.”
Richardson suffered a strained muscle in his right shin during the second week of OTAs in May. The injury kept him sidelined for the rest of the offseason. (Akron Beacon-Journal)|
FF Today's Take: Richardson underwent knee surgery in August, suffered broken ribs in mid-October and missed the season finale with a left high-ankle sprain last year, but still managed to play 15 games. With new OC Norv Turner calling the plays this season and very little behind him on the depth chart, Richardson is a good bet to lead the league in carries if he can play all 16 games.
