Foster suffered from o-line play-- Thu Jun 20 3:10 pm --
RB didn't look "spry", but right side of line fell apart
Last year, the Texans had to replace their right guard and right tackle and the continuity of the Texans o-line completely fell apart. Texans fans and fantasy owners began to question whether or not Arian Foster was fatigued from his high touch count since he operated under 4.0 YPC for much of the year. While Foster didnít look as consistently spry as he had the previous couple of seasons, the offensive line simply didnít play with enough consistency in the run game. (Houston Chronicle)
FF Today's Take:While the outside zone can work around defensive penetration from one defender, it cannot work with multiple defenders in the backfield - something we saw for the first time with some regularity in 2012. There's no question Foster's heavy workload will catch up to him at some point, but logic suggests Foster was as much of a victim of poor blocking than an erosion of skills last year. He's still a top-five fantasy pick in 2013.
