Cowboy RB recovered from strained hamstring
|DeMarco Murray missed the first few OTAs in May because of a slightly strained hamstring, but as the Cowboys finish up their mandatory mini-camp Thursday the running back is ready to go.
“I definitely feel like I’m back to where I need to be,” Murray said.
Murray has led the Cowboys in rushing his first two seasons (897 yards as a rookie, 663 in 2012) but he has only had 325 carries. (ESPN Dallas)|
FF Today's Take: With the Cowboys wanting to run more in 2013, Murray is the key and he has to stay healthy. He missed three games as a rookie with a fractured ankle while a foot injury kept him out of six games last year. Joseph Randle will also get his share of touches, but Dallas has not been shy about giving Murray a lot of work when he is healthy. If - and it is a pretty big if - Murray can stay on the field for 16 games, he could easily be a top 10 fantasy back.
