Vikings move QB Webb to receiver-- Wed May 15 10:00 pm --
Cassel acquisition makes decision easy for Frazier
Those who thought Joe Webb had no future as at quarterback should be happy, because the former Alabama-Birmingham standout has become a full-time wide receiver for the Vikings. Coach Leslie Frazier said the decision to shift Webb to receiver was made after the draft, when the team selected receiver Cordarrelle Patterson in the first round and also because the Vikings had signed free agent quarterback Matt Cassel. FF Today's Take:Webb played receiver as a sophomore and ran in the 4.4's coming out of college but it's doubtful he'll make any significant fantasy contribution at the position in 2013.
