Two-year deal worth maximum of $13 million
The Buffalo Bills have agreed to a two-year deal worth a maximum of $13 million with quarterback Kevin Kolb, league sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter on Saturday night. The move gives the Bills another starting-caliber QB after they released Ryan Fitzpatrick earlier this month. (ESPN)
FF Today's Take:With Tarvaris Jackson on the roster, Kolb would be the expected starter in 2013 assuming the Bills don't take a quarterback with the eighth pick in the draft. Kolb has battled injuries the last two years and never got a firm footing in Arizona. He'll be a QB2 with minimal upside in Buffalo.
