TE Fred Davis cleared to play-- Tue Feb 26 1:00 pm -- Redskins tight end recovering from Achilles injury
Washington Redskins tight end Fred Davis, who is recovering from a torn Achilles suffered last season, was cleared to play by Dr. Robert Anderson on Tuesday. Anderson said Davis is healing very well and will be 100 percent for organized team activities. He is set to become an unrestricted free agent on March 12. (ESPN)
FF Today's Take:Davis may be cleared to play but it's hard to imagine him being fully recovered since his Achilles injury occurred last October. Given his free agent status, Davis has incentive to let other teams know his recovery is progressing well. His fantasy value remains in neutral until he finds a team and is able to step on the practice field on a consistent basis.
