NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock said the word on Florida State quarterback E.J. Manuel is he might be a third- or fourth-round draft pick. Mayock listed five players who made money in Mobile, Ala., this week and none were quarterbacks.
The five: Central Michigan tackle Eric Fisher, Louisiana Tech receiver Quinton Patton, Kentucky guard Larry Warford, Oklahoma tackle Lane Johnson and California center Brian Schwenke.
Mayock also noted that UConn cornerback Dwayne Gratz drew interest as a safety this week and called Rutgers linebacker Khaseem Greene a first-round pick. (NFL.com)
FF Today's Take: Florida State's E.J. Manuel scored two touchdowns and was named the games Most Outstanding Player with a solid outing. However, the rest of the senior signal callers left a lot to be desired according to Mayock and far less likely to make an immediate fantasy impact in 2013.
