Jets not in play for Vick or Smith     -- Tue Jan 22 1:55 pm --

NY faces tangible cap woes
The Jets are unlikely to peruse high profile and salary quarterbacks like Michael Vick, Matt Flynn, or Alex Smith. The Jets have shown their displeasure with current quarterback Mark Sanchez, and the team is expected to move on from the former first round draft pick. However, the team is in a world of hurt when it comes to their salary cap situation; they had to practically give away the GM job. More realistic options for the Jets at quarterback are Tavaris Jackson, Matt Moore, Jason Campbell, or David Garrard. (Brian Costello New York Post)

FF Today's Take: Just like in 2012, whoever the Jets quarterback is in 2013 will prove to be fantasy irrelevant. Not only does the team not have a quarterback but they also have arguably the worst skill positions in football.
