Payton reinstated -- Tue Jan 22 1:21 pm --
Saints get their coach back sooner than they expected | The NFL has reinstated Saints head coach Sean Payton. "Sean fully complied with all the requirements imposed on him during his suspension," Goodell said in a statement. Payton was originally expected to be reinstated after the Superbowl However, many believe this is a last ditch effort for the commissioner to save face before he makes appearances in New Orleans in front of Saints fans, whose season he seemingly destroyed. Payton will now operate under his new five year contract, and it seems that Bountygate is finally behind us: Halleluiah.
FF Today's Take: Drew Brees and Jimmy Graham fantasy owners were no doubt complacent with their stars performance in fantasy this year. But weren’t you left wanting more? Fear not Brees and Graham dynasty and keeper league owners. Sean Payton is back to improve on and solidify the stranglehold that Brees and Graham had over the quarterback and tight end position in 2012. When you consider that Brady could potentially lose Welker in New England, and the defensively stout division Aaron Rodgers plays in without a running game, Brees could emerge at the end of next season as the top fantasy quarterback for the second year in a row.
