Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan suffered a sprained left shoulder during Sunday's NFC Championship Game, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter.
Ryan was diagnosed with a sprained AC joint but will not need surgery, according to the source. The two-time Pro Bowler popped his shoulder back into place and may not need an MRI on Monday.

FF Today's Take:The injury is to Ryan's non-throwing shoulder and with the off-season he should be fine for the Falcons offseason program in 2013.
