Broncos promote Gase to OC-- Thu Jan 17 3:48 pm -- Denver stays in house to fill void from McCoy's departure
The Denver Broncos have hired a new offensive coordinator - and no, his name isn't Peyton Manning. Adam Gase will be calling the plays next season as he replaces Mike McCoy, who bolted earlier this week to become head coach of the San Diego Chargers. (AP)
FF Today's Take:Gase's familiarity with QB Peyton Manning makes his promotion smoother for the entire offense. Manning will have a huge amount of input into the offense once again next season. Considering the Broncos boasted two 1000-yard, 10+ touchdown wide receivers in Manning's first season at the helm, this bodes well for more fantasy success in 2013.
