Zach Miller tears plantar fascia-- Mon Jan 14 7:30 pm --
Suffered injury on third play of game
Zach Miller tore his plantar fascia on Seattle’s third play of the game. He went to the locker room, took a pain-killing shot on the bottom of his foot and returned to have the most prolific receiving day in not only his two-year tenure with the Seahawks, but his six-year NFL career. (Seattle Times)
FF Today's Take:Miller had no more than five catches or 59 yards in any game before his 8-142-1 line against the Falcons, often running free against a Falcons' linebacking corps that seemed appeared to care less about covering him. His ability to "play through the pain" will undoubtedly help his stock with teammates, but there's little reason that he will be anything more than a low-end TE2 in fantasy leagues next season.
