Will undergo surgery on his right shoulder
Dallas Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware said he will undergo surgery on his right shoulder Thursday but hopes he will be cleared to return to the field in time for training camp. Ware was bothered for much of the season with a posterior torn labrum, which caused his shoulder to pop in and out of place. It has not been decided whether Ware will have surgery on his hyperextended right elbow. The hope is that rest will help resolve the issue, but he could have a minor procedure performed later in the offseason. (ESPN)
