Injury Cobb, Nelson sit Wednesday     -- Wed Jan 9 1:45 pm --

Packers receivers miss practice
Three days before they're set to play the San Francisco 49ers in a divisional playoff game at Candlestick Park, the Packers were without Jordy Nelson, Randall Cobb and Jarrett Boykin. Nelson's injury has been a mystery since he went out briefly in the wild-card game against Minnesota, although there was some indication he might have been kicked in the calf. He swore after the game that it was not the knee or ankle he had hurt previously. Cobb's absence comes a day after he practiced and might be flu related. The Packers have had a run of flu absences for several weeks and he might be the latest to have it. (Milwaukee Journal Sentinel)

FF Today's Take: Nelson has been nursing a gimpy knee for a couple weeks and while he'll likely be available this week, he's the one Packers wideout fantasy owners should avoid in playoff leagues. We'll need more info on the reason for Cobb's absence before analyzing his fantasy value.
