Falcons retain their offensive coordinator
Falcons offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter has signed a two-year contract extension with the team. Koetter had met with the Chiefs on Tuesday about their head coaching vacancy, and planned to meet with the Browns and Eagles latter in the week; these meetings will no longer be necessary. FF Today's Take: With the assistance of Koetter, the Falcons offense ranked seventh in points per game and sixth in passing yards in 2012. Stability across the board, on the offensive side of the football, will help the Falcons continue and increase their offensive production. Julio Jones and Roddy White ranked ninth and tenth respectively in fantasy points for wide receivers, while Matt Ryan ranked seventh among quarterbacks.
