Injury Gronkowski not likely to play     -- Fri Dec 21 1:10 pm --

Recovering from broken forearm
Tight end Rob Gronkowski will not play in Sunday's game in Jacksonville, according to a league source. Gronkowski, who suffered a broken left forearm in the Patriots' win over the Colts last month and underwent surgery a day later, returned to practice on a limited basis last Friday. He has also taken part in practices this week, again on a limited basis. (Boston Globe)

FF Today's Take: The Patriots are likely saving their best tight end for the playoffs although he may get some action against Jacksonville in Week 17. Aaron Hernandez makes for TE1 in Week 16.
