Rookie to make first NFL start
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will not play Sunday against the Washington Redskins because of a concussion, a source close to the situation told ESPN. Nick Foles, a third-round draft selection, will make his first career start Sunday. Foles earned positive reviews from coach Andy Reid after replacing Vick in last Sunday's game against the Dallas Cowboys. (ESPN)

FF Today's Take: Foles impressed in limited action last weekend, completing a high percentage of passes and racking up 219 passing yards in just two and a half quarters. He has some value this week facing a porous Redskins' pass defense.
