Injury Roethlisberger has SC sprain     -- Tue Nov 13 12:55 pm --

MRI on Tuesday will reveal extent of the injury
Steelers coach Mike Tomlin said Bed Roethlisberger has a SC (sternoclavicular) sprain in his right throwing shoulder. Roethlisberger sustained trauma to the joint connecting his clavicle to his sternum and there is ligament damage. Mike Tomlin would not rule out Roethlisberger for Sunday, but the injury would be extremely painful to play with. Roethlisberger will undergo an MRI, latter in the day on Tuesday. FF Today's Take: For those owners who employ Ben Roethlisberger, a wise move would be to roster Colin Kaepernick. Kaepernick is a top 15 quarterback when given the playing time and may be under center is Alex Smith (concussion) is unable to play.
