Bradshaw has neck injury-- Tue Nov 13 12:28 pm -- Giants RB to undergo test in bye week
Chris Mortensen reported on ESPN’s Monday Night Countdown that Ahmad Bradshaw left last Sunday’s game against the Bengals with a neck injury. Bradshaw missed time earlier in the year, due to a neck injury, and during the Giant’s Week 11 bye will undergo “some exams and MRIs”. Mortensen also noted that coach Tom Coughlin did “not sound overly alarmed” during his Monday press conference.
FF Today's Take:The Giants Week 11 bye could not have come at a better time for Bradshaw owners. Bradshaw ranks 15th amongst running backs this year in total fantasy points. However, over the last four weeks Bradshaw ranks 26th. Bradshaw’s replacement, Andre Brown, may be a better fantasy option even when Bradshaw returns from injury. Brown has scored a touchdown in each of the last four weeks and has rushed for more yards per carry than Bradshaw in that time (5.5 YPC compared to 3.8 YPC).
