Foles likley to start -- Tue Nov 13 11:05 am --
Vick suffered a serious concussion | ESPN’s Adam Schefter has reported that the Eagles plan to start Nick Foles in Week 11. The expectation is that Michael Vick’s “significant” concussion will sideline him for weeks and not a few days. Vick may even come back to find that he has lost his job, if Foles plays well enough in the interim. Foles threw for 22 completions (on a 68.8 completion percentage), 219 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. (Adam Schefter on Twitter)
FF Today's Take: The Eagles have already placed three offensive linemen on injured reserve and the suggestion that Michael Vick is the reason for the Eagles offensive struggles is not entirely true. Vick has been sacked the third most of any quarterback in 2012 (27 times); Foles was sacked twice against the Cowboys. The Eagles play the Redskins in Week 11 whose defense is 28th in sacks per game. Washington’s inability to rush the passer combined with the fact that they are ranked 30th against the pass, means that Foles has a good matchup this week. Still, I would be hard pressed to start him in the deepest of leagues.
