Smith feels better on Monday -- Tue Nov 13 10:44 am --
Harbaugh: 'symptoms are positive' (in a good way) | 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh said Alex Smith (concussion) is “doing much better” after he experienced blurred vision in Sunday nights tie. "(He's) doing much better, had a good night's sleep last night," coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday. "And symptoms are positive today. He's visiting with a neurologist later this afternoon." The best indication of Smith’s status will come on Thursday, when the injury report comes out, after practice. (CSN Bay Area)
FF Today's Take: In a game where Alex Smith played the first quarter until he was forced to leave with a concussion, Colin Kaepernick created a doppelganger of Alex Smith’s third and fourth best performance in 2012: 17.74 points in Weeks 1 and 2 compared to 17.2 by Kaepernick. Kaepernick threw for 117 yards on 17 completions, rushed for 66 yards, and scored a rushing touchdown. 49er quarterbacks have a tough matchup this week against the Bears defense, who has allowed the fewest amount of points to fantasy quarterbacks and has only allowed 15 fantasy points to an opposing quarterback once in 2012.
