Vick has "significant" concussion-- Mon Nov 12 12:30 pm -- Nick Foles expected to take first team reps in practice
Michael Vick sustained a "pretty significant concussion" Sunday and likely won't be medically cleared when the Philadelphia Eagles resume practice this week, coach Andy Reid said. Reid was uncertain of Vick's status for Sunday's game against the Washington Redskins but emphasized that the four-time Pro Bowler would remain Philadelphia's starting quarterback when healthy. FF Today's Take:While he hasn't been ruled out, it seems likely that Vick will not play this week against Washington, giving rookie QB Nick Foles the start for the Eagles. Foles threw for 219 yards and 1 TD on Sunday but had definite rookie moments filled with poor-decision making. He will be a borderline QB1 against a shaky Redskins pass defense.
