Fred Jackson ruled out for Week 11-- Mon Nov 12 5:55 pm -- C.J. Spiller to "get lots of opportunities" vs. MIA
The Buffalo Bills won't have running back Fred Jackson for Thursday night's game against the Miami Dolphins. Bills coach Chan Gailey confirmed Jackson suffered a concussion Sunday on a colossal fourth-quarter hit by New England Patriots linebacker Brandon Spikes. Jackson rushed for a season-high 80 yards and two touchdowns against the Patriots. A goal-line fumble prevented a third touchdown. He missed games in Weeks Two and Three because of a knee injury.
Gailey said Spiller will get "lots of opportunities" against Miami. (Buffalo News)
FF Today's Take:Spiller has been electric in his half of the committee attack with Jackson after being fantasy's best RB during the early part of September when Jackson was sitting out. The Dolphins just gave up 126 yards and a touchdown in Week 10 to a similarly explosive runner in Chris Johnson, so Spiller owners should confidently play him on Thursday night.
