Says he'll be ready to play next week
Jamaal Charles was knocked out of Thursday night’s 31-13 loss to the Chargers because of what the Chiefs called a neck injury. But Charles said he would be available for the Chiefs’ next game on Nov. 12 against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. “I feel like I can still play,” Charles said. “I’m fine right now. I feel good. I came off the field pretty good. I feel like I could have gone back in, but they told me to relax.” (Kansas City Star)

FF Today's Take: No serious cause for concern here. Pay attention to Charles' practice participation next week leading into the week nine games.
