Injury DeMarco Murray to undergo MRI     -- Sun Oct 14 7:45 pm --

Apparent foot sprain
One of the most impressive aspects of the Cowboys' offense during their 31-29 loss to the Ravens was the ease with which running backs DeMarco Murray and Felix Jones cut through the Baltimore defense, combining for 185 yards and a touchdown on 32 carries. But Murray had to leave the game with a foot injury, and now CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports that he sustained an apparent foot sprain. According to La Canfora, the X-rays were negative and an MRI is scheduled for Monday to assess the severity of the injury. (CBS Sports)

FF Today's Take: Before his owners panic about the injury-prone runner, Murray re-entered the game in the second half, so early indications are that his injury was minor. Additionally, he left the stadium without a walking boot. Jones is next up on the depth chart, but dealt with cramps throughout the game and had to be relieved by Phillip Tanner and Lance Dunbar. Jones is injury-prone as well, so owners would be wise to keep a close eye on this situation as the Cowboys' running game has a juicy matchup vs. Carolina in Week 7.
