Ryan talks about Terrell Owens -- Tue Oct 9 11:59 am --
Terrell Ownes makes a plea to the Jets | Jets coach Rex Ryan did not completely rule out the idea of Terrell Owens as an addition to a depleted Jets wide receiver core. Owens made a plea to the Jets, via Twitter, while the team played the Texans on Monday night. "Hey JETS!!! I'm available! I'm ready, willing & able! Call my agent [Jordan Woy] & let's make it happen," Owens tweeted. The Jets have three healthy wide receivers but have recently added Jason Hill and Clyde Gates to their roster. Ryan said “You can never say never to anything…You look at your situation. I would assume we’d go with the same crew.” (Rick Cimini on Twitter)
FF Today's Take: With or without Terrell Owens the Jets offense will continue to struggle. Owens was cut by the Seahawks prior to the regular season. However, the Jets do love to add volatile personalities to their locker room and like to create distractions wherever they can. Terrell Owens, in the event the Jets should add him, should not be added even in the deepest of leagues.
