Injury Jeffery likely out 4-6 weeks     -- Tue Oct 9 12:20 am --

Fractured right hand
Coach Lovie Smith said Monday the Chicago Bears are still evaluating the right hand injury WR Alshon Jeffery suffered during Sunday's win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jeffery sat out a bulk of the fourth quarter on Sunday, but he remained on the Bears' sideline after getting his hand bandaged by the team's training staff. He had two receptions for 20 yards, including a 10-yard touchdown early in the fourth quarter. (ESPN Chicago)

FF Today's Take: ESPN's Chris Mortenson suggested the rookie will miss 4-6 weeks. Given his fringe fantasy production, he is droppable in shallow and even medium-sized fantasy leagues. With Earl Bennett also recovering from a hand injury, Devin Hester could see an increased role in the offense.
