Hakeem Nicks out again-- Thu Oct 4 4:45 pm -- Still bothered by foot
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks will miss his third straight game Sunday against the Cleveland Browns, coach Tom Coughlin announced Thursday.
Nicks is still bothered by his surgically repaired foot, which he had operated on back in May. He also is suffering from pain in his knee.
Coughlin said the plan right now is just to rest Nicks until he is able to get back on the field. Nicks' status beyond this week is undetermined. (ESPNNewYork.com)
FF Today's Take:This is a tough blow for Nicks' owners especially since there is no timetable for his return. Dominick Hixon figures to be the best fantasy alternative opposite Victor Cruz given that Ramses Barden is dealing with a concussion and has yet to practice this week.
