Injury Jennings considers time off     -- Tue Oct 2 12:16 pm --

Packers WR re-injured groin is a cause for concern
Packer’s wide receiver Greg Jennings re-aggravated his injured groin on a 9-yard touchdown catch during Sunday’s 28-27 win against the Saints. Jennings said he would consider sitting out until his injury is fully recovered. Jennings said, “I would definitely err to the side of caution when it comes to something like this simply because if it’s going to continue to be an issue, I’d rather take the time that I need to eliminate it altogether versus going out there and having it re-occur time after time and continue to have setbacks.” (Green Bay Press-Gazette)

FF Today's Take: It remains unclear whether or not Jennings will play this Sunday in Indianapolis, but more information should be forthcoming as the week progresses. However, much to the dismay of Jennings fantasy owners, the Packers can be cautious with the Pro Bowl wide receiver because of their cornucopia of receiver talent. James Jones had two touchdowns last week against the Saints, and the Packers wide receiver will see an increase in usage while Jennings is sidelined.
